Fall 2011 to Winter 2012 Fashion

With each season we rearrange our wardrobe of fashion. As we go through our wardrobe we notice that there is way too much drama in our closet so we turn to our fashion trend magazines to see what’s Hot and what’s Not.

It appears that this Fall/Winter designers are using neutral colors like black, cream, brown, navy etc. But notice how fashion repeats itself? During this year’s Fall / Winter 2012 Fashion shows, designers like Jonathan Saunders, Miu Miu, Christian Dior, Gucci have brought back the 40s elegance look and have made it a hot trend for Winter 2012.

The autumn 2011 trending into winter 2012 is the 1920s hippie looking flapper dress. This look began back in 2008 but was not as popular as it has recently become. With that said, women’s fashion continues to maintain its elegance. Professional women continue to wear sweater dresses. They are comfortable and professional depending on the individual’s profession and dress code requirements.

Your outfit can be so remarkable but that doesn’t necessarily mean you should not accessories. When accessories don’t think about completing your outfit, think about complimenting it. Choose jewelry that compliment what you are wearing, experiment with chunky jewelry but don’t overdo it because it will make you seem like a retail doll on display. Also, choose a handbag or a purse that matches your outfit. This season seem to be the season of clutches in the shape of a football or rugby ball.

Rain boot and knew high boots are also a must have this season. The weather people are expecting this winter to be cold and wet so have a few pairs of boots in handy for when you need them does not hurt.

Shoes are always a must have. Open toe, sandals, pumps, flats they can all be fashionable. With shoes recent fashion trends have been a mix and match. Red Dress with Blue shoes like Katie Holms wore the little black dress with yellow shoes, Skin Color boots with a short dress etc. Flats are the comfort shoe for work a person can never go wrong.

According to Fashion Allure, burgundy is the color to have this fall and winter.

I have been following your hubs and totally love them... I agree with the hipster look I live in Brooklyn NY and that look is so popular these days. Notice how the 90s Geek is the 2011 Hippie? Just throwing it out there :)
